About Scottdale Feed & Supply

Scottdale Feed and Supply was founded on October 1, 2022 following the path J & R Feeds created over the previous 33 years. My name is Matt Wiesbrock and I was raised on Scottdale Farm in Wheaton, IL where my father and grandfather ran a Thoroughbred breeding and racing operation.

I took a year off after high school and worked at my aunt and uncle's feed store, Kearns Feed and Supply, in Naperville before heading to college. After college I worked as a carpenter and in 1989 began a career in sales which I did until I retired in 2021. In 2022, I stopped in J & R Feed to buy some feed for my pigeons and a month later we bought the store, and I was back working at a feed store again after a 50-year hiatus!

I am blessed with four adult daughters, Ashley, Lindsay, Carley and Allie as well as 4 , Parker, Maxwell, Owen and my little princess Hailey. have found great pleasure k to my roots with the farm community and enjoy frequent visits from our customers as we swap old farm stories.
